As most of you know, I grew up on what I affectionately call the darkside. I work and play on Hong Kong side but Kowloon will always be home.
I spent some time down memory lane this morning. I was at the brand new leasing office of The Argyle in Ho Man Tin. Our recently appointed Sole Agency. Now for those of you who know me really well, you will know that Ho Man Tin is where I lived for many years growing up here. It really was like being home.
The Argyle is located in the prestigious area of Ho Man Tin and is overlooking the Kadoorie Hill – a location many of us have fond memories of. Views are open and green, with convenient MTR stops just a short walk away. Featuring 2-3 bedroom apartments from 440 sq. ft – 980 sq. ft with individual balconies, these apartments are ideal for those young professionals or young families who want convenience in a more traditional part of Kowloon. For families, there are also the elite schools nearby such as King George V School, Diocesan Boys’ School, and LaSalle School to name a few. Also due to open in 2017, Stamford International School. Our in house JLL schooling consultant – Hilary Ng can tell you all more about them.
When it comes to the apartments themselves, expect high ceilings and large double glazed windows with designer appliances in the kitchens.
Need another excellent reason to rent in this building? The building is owned by one landlord which means that you no longer have to be afraid of renovations of the apartments above and below you! Not just that, but it also means you will have a landlord who will maintain your property quickly and with quality workmanship.
Last but not least, how can I not speak about Ho Man Tin and the local area. Just the amount of food choices in the area is one reason to live there. Expect great local Chinese food at good prices and boutique restaurants that will certainly keep you occupied. Many companies are moving to Kowloon side. Now you have somewhere where you can also call home.
Come and speak to our JLL projects team if you want to find out more or follow me on Facebook – the team and I will be over there a lot!
It is nearly Friday!
