About

I am a proud Hong Konger, born and raised in this fabulous city that we all call home.  I have been lucky enough to live and work in a few places around the world but I am now home and live on the darkside (Kowloon) with my gorgeous son Callum.  I started working in real estate (a long time ago!) by accident when I was living in London, but after a few weeks I was pretty sure that I had found my calling.  I love working in property; in fact I just can’t get enough.  So rather than chewing everyone’s ear off in person (although I may still be guilty of that), I have decided to start up my blog again after a 5 year hiatus*

Real estate is one of those topics that gets everybody talking – no matter where you are in the world.   I can safely say that everybody here in Hong Kong likes to talk about the Hong Kong property market.  Looking for a home anywhere can be stressful, frustrating and yet somewhat rewarding. But the similarities of searching for a home anywhere else in the world and here in Hong Kong end there.  This property market is like no other.  Finding the right property can often feel like finding a needle in a haystack.  You need to have a good agent working with you (you only need one!) and believe me, when you find that needle you do not want to let it out of your sight!

Expect to hear about both property and life related topics on this blog.  Anything from house hunting tips and neighbourhood reviews, to decor inspiration and relocation advice, with my general lifestyle updates sandwiched in between!

I often get asked what is my favourite property in Hong Kong.  I have several but I have always wanted to live in one of the houses in Kadoorie Avenue.

*For those interested you can visit my old blog here – note that is a VERY old picture of me!

If you have any questions about property, relocating or anything about life in Hong Kong then please do drop me a line below.  Let me know what you would like to hear about.

Cheers
